We were able to move into our very first home last month to West Jordan!
It is a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home.
It has been the busiest month of our lives. It was NOT a move in ready house.We have been work work working EVERY night this month!Our families have helped us out sooo much, we are forever in their debt!
It's not the prettiest house in the world, We have a lot of work to do on the outside,I know, but we wanted to focus on the inside so that it would be livable...then we will start working on the outside.
Getting new carpet was an absolute must!!!They had a huge dog living inside and peed on every inch of the carpet it seemed like. So nasty and dirty and stinky(if you double click, you can see the old carpet a little better)!
We painted the front room, entry way, hallways, and basement the first week we moved in.
We finished remodeling 1 of our 3 bathrooms this weekend.
This is Kate and the babies room. It isn't finished, but it has come a long way from the crayola blue before pic. I textured the walls myself, then painted it a chocolate brown. I told Kate that it was "chocolate brown" and she said..."Mommy can I like the walls then?..." :)
Yes, that is pumpkin orange before people! Ahh!
We painted the kitchen, and took off the border wall paper(P.S I hate borders and wall paper!!! EVERY room in the house had a border we had to take off, and it was the biggest pain in the world!)but we are hoping to get new countertops and a backsplash in the near future. Yah! but for now, it works just fine!
Our first backyard,deck, and patio! We are so excited!Thanks to all that have helped us so far! It has come a long way!
We are so excited to start our new adventure together as a family!

Congrats D! It's awesome! I can't believe all that work you've already done. We've been in our three months, and I still haven't unpacked all the boxes. :) I love it! What a beautiful home.
